Only 3 Ingredients
Tortillas: I have used Mission® Zero Net Carbs Original Tortillas for this recipe because I love their flavor and how they crisp so nicely in the oven. If your local store doesn’t carry this brand try another low carb brand.
Seasonings: Salt and garlic powder are all you need for a basic chip that goes with anything, but feel free to experiment with other seasonings.
Cooking Spray: Spraying tortillas with cooking oil makes this recipe super easy, but you could also brush both sides with oil using a basting brush.
Variations
- Keep a few of these DIY seasoning blends to punch up the flavor of tortilla chips. We like garlic and herb, taco seasoning, or a zesty southwest blend. Or sprinkle the chips with other spices like chili powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin, or onion powder.
- There are many flavor variations with Mission® Zero Net Carbs Tortillas like pesto, spinach, sundried tomato, and garlic herb. Experiment with different flavors for a whole new chip experience!
How to Make Low Carb Tortilla Chips
I love to make these crispy low carb dippers. With this recipe you will never miss potato chips again.
- Spray both sides of the tortillas with pan spray and season (recipe below).
- Cut into wedges with a sharp knife or a pizza cutter.
- Bake in a single layer until golden and crispy.
Low Carb Dips for Chips
- Tortillas make the best chips because they’re sturdy for even the chunkiest dips like a zesty buffalo chicken, or a creamy hot artichoke spinach.
- Healthy and delicious cottage cheese queso, guacamole or an avocado dip are crowd favorites and no one will even know they’re low carb.
- Or make a platter of keto nachos by topping these chips with a sprinkling of mozzarella cheese, salsa, chopped onions, diced tomatoes, black olives, corn, and jalapenos. Serve with a dollop of sour cream.
Keeping Tortilla Chips Fresh
Keep oven-baked tortilla chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Pop them under the broiler, or into a preheated air fryer for a few minutes to make them crispy again.
