Are there panko bread crumbs in this breading??
This recipe doesn’t contain breadcrumbs.
On this and other recipes from easylowcarb, the nutritional breakdown does not include the serving size. This makes the posted nutritional data useless. I realize the recipe specifies 4 servings, but the data chart doesn’t make that distinction. Is it for the whole recipe? Or, is it for 1/4 of the recipe?
Hi Drexy, at the top of the nutrition facts chart it does state the amounts listed are per serving. Keep in mind nutritional information may vary depending on the brand of ingredients you choose to use. Hope that helps!
Right, but what I think their point is, is that it doesn’t specify what a serving size is. I’m going to assume that because your recipe says it serves 4, and you’re using 2 medium zucchini, that half of 1 zucchini is a serving. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Thanks for clarifying Adrienne! And you are totally right, a serving would about half a medium zucchini.
Haven’t made the zucchini fries or zucchini pizza bites but want to know if there is a dairy freeze cheese that can be substituted for these two recipes. they look yummy! thanks
I have only made the recipes as written. I’d think that your favorite dairy free cheese substitute would work, but hopefully another reader can help you San!
Is there instruction for using an air fryer for this recipe? Are the zucchini fries supposed to be air-fried at the same temperature and for the same length of time as the baked recipe states?
For cooking in an air fryer preheat it to 375°F and cook for 8 minutes, then flip the sticks over and cook an additional 6-8 minutes.
I’m so glad you posted the zucchini fries. Earlier today I received an email for the same recipe and the cards were 39 per serving. I am on a diabetic died and can have 30 grams for breakfast and lunch so to their recipe wasn’t low carb.
Enjoy them Barbara!
