Cucumber Dip

This creamy cucumber dip is easy to make and perfect paired with veggies or low carb crackers.

  • ½ English cucumber
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon ground black pepper


  • Grate the cucumber with the large holes on a box grater. Toss with salt and let rest in a colander for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Squeeze excess liquid from the cucumber before adding it to the dip. Stir and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
  • Serve with fresh vegetables for dipping.


  • The cucumber does not need to be peeled.
  • To remove all liquid from salted cucumbers, try rolling them in a clean and dry linen towel.
  • Refrigerate and chill well before serving.
