Egg-sential Ingredients

  • Eggs: Fresh eggs deliver the best flavor. You can also use liquid eggs, or all egg whites for a low-cholesterol serving.
  • Dairy: Full-fat milk or cream adds rich flavor to baked scrambled eggs. Feel free to use your favorite non-dairy milk if desired.
  • Seasonings: Mix up the menu and try new seasoning blends like a spicy southwestern blend or a simple garlic and herb blend.

Fresh-tastic Eggs

Find out if your eggs are fresh by placing each one in a glass of water. If the egg sinks and turns on its side, it’s fresh. If it sinks, but stays upright, those are older, but you can make hard-boiled eggs with them. But if the egg floats, discard it.

Scramble Up Some Variety

  • Pump up the protein and add a few spoonsful of cottage cheese or leftover taco meat into the eggs in Step 2.
  • Mix in some crumbled feta, shredded cheddar, or sliced green onions if desired.

How to Bake Scrambled Eggs

  1. Whisk all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour into a prepared baking pan and dot with butter pats.
  3. Bake (full recipe below) until the eggs are soft and set.

Egg-spert Tips & Tricks

  • If adding veggies to the recipe, saute them a few minutes before adding them to the eggs in Step 2.
  • Stirring the eggs a few times in Step 4 ensures they cook evenly.

Serve Up Smiles, Store It Smart

  • Serve baked scrambled eggs with a side of turkey sausage, some cottage cheese pancakes, and a cup of keto bulletproof coffee.
  • Cool baked scrambled eggs completely and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze in portions for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat in the microwave in 30–45 second intervals, stirring gently, or warm in the oven covered with foil.
