Holly’s Ranch Dip Highlights
- Flavor: This easy recipe provides classic Ranch flavor in a low-carb dip.
- Skill Level: Anyone can make this simple dip recipe. Just whip, mix, and serve.
- Recommended Tools: A small blender (the kind for smoothies) is perfect for small batch dips and dressings.
- Make Ahead: This dip tastes best when it’s uber-cold and the dried seasonings have time to rehydrate and bloom their flavors.
- Serving Suggestions: This dip is crazy versatile! Use it as a spread in a cottage cheese flatbread or scoop it up with celery, cucumber, peppers, low-carb tortilla chips, or kale chips.

Low Carb Ingredients
- Cottage Cheese: Full-fat cottage cheese provides the best flavor. Curd size doesn’t matter since the dip is blended to a smooth consistency.
- Seasonings: Fresh dill, parsley, and chives taste and look better, but dried herbs and powdered spices work fine as well. Adjust the seasonings to your preference; the results will still be cool, creamy, and deliciously tangy.
Ranch Dip With A Twist
- Greek yogurt and sour cream can be added to the recipe in Step 1 for a thicker, creamier result.
- Add shredded zucchini or chopped spinach for a fresh, garden green look and a bump in nutrients.
- Chia seeds are an easy add-in if you want a little more protein.
- Lemon zest and freshly cracked black pepper make for a colorful and flavorful garnish if desired.
