Tomato Burrata Salad

medley grape tomatoes
or cherry tomatoes

olive oil

kosher salt
or to taste
fresh ground black pepper
to taste

fresh burrata cheese
¼

fresh basil leaves

tablespoon
balsamic vinegar
or balsamic glaze, optional
Instructions
Slice the tomatoes in half and place them in a shallow serving bowl or platter.
Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then gently toss to coat.
Tear the burrata into chunks or place the whole ball on top of the tomatoes. Let the creamy center ooze slightly.
Scatter fresh basil leaves over the top. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired.
Notes
To chill before serving, arrange tomato burrata salad on a serving dish, cover with plastic wrap, and chill until ready to serve.
Dress with oil and other seasonings just before serving.
