Equipment
Baking Sheet
Rolling Pin
Parchment Paper
Ingredients
1¼
cups
almond flour
1
large
egg
¼
teaspoon
garlic powder
kosher salt
to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Combine the almond flour, egg, and garlic powder in a large bowl and mix until fully combined.
Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper and press down. Lay another parchment sheet on top and with a rolling pin, roll out ¼ inch thick.
Cut the dough into squares and place on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt or seasonings.
Bake for 17 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
Notes
If the dough is not coming together, add 1 tablespoon of water.
There will be fewer air bubbles if the dough is not over-mixed. Dough should barely hold together before rolling out.
Do not overwork the dough, and roll it out to ¼” thickness.
Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut dough into squares or rectangles.
Store crackers in a zip-top bag or container for up to 1 week on the counter, or in the freezer for up to 8 weeks.
Leftovers (or broken bits) are perfect toppers for salads or soups.
