Preheat oven to 375℉. Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment.
In a large pan, cook bacon over medium-high heat until lightly cooked (but not crispy), about 3 minutes per side. Reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Wash and trim ends of green beans. Add to boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender crisp. Move to an ice water bath.
Dab beans dry and toss with 1 tablespoon bacon grease, salt and pepper. to taste.
Cut bacon slices in half and wrap around bundles of 5-7 green beans. Secure bacon with a toothpick and place on baking pan.
Bake for 10-14 minutes until bacon is crisp and beans are tender.
Notes
Be sure to cool the beans in ice water to stop the cooking process and keep beans tender-crisp.
Dry the green beans so that the bacon fat will stick.
Lightly cook the bacon so it can be wrapped. It will get crispy in the oven.
