Ingredients
1
small
onion
1
cup
shredded cheddar cheese
¼
teaspoon
garlic powder
¼
teaspoon
paprika
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375℉ and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
On the prepared baking sheet, create small mounds of shredded cheese (about 2 tablespoons each), spaced 2 inches apart.
Place one onion slice on top of each cheese mound.
Lightly sprinkle each with garlic powder and paprika.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is crispy around the edges and the onions are golden.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving or storing.
Notes
Line the baking sheet with parchment for easy cleanup.
After baking, place a cutting board on top and flip the pan to lift chips easily.
Slice onions evenly with a mandoline or sharp knife.
Thick slices won’t cook through or get crispy.
Let chips cool completely for the best crunch.
