eggs

milk
or heavy cream

teaspoon
dry mustard powder

teaspoon
onion powder

pinch
black pepper
to taste

shredded Gruyere cheese
about ½ cup

finely crumbled bacon
or real bacon bits
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, dry mustard, onion powder, and pepper until well mixed.
Thoroughly grease a muffin tin or egg mold.
Divide the cheese and bacon over the wells. Pour eggs overtop.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until set.
Notes
Refrigerate leftovers in a covered container for up to 7 days.
Freeze egg bites separately on a baking sheet before placing in a zippered bag. Store in the freezer for up to one month.
Thaw egg bites in the refrigerator, then reheat in the microwave at 30 second intervals until warmed through.
