Low Carb Alfredo Sauce
Everyone will love this easy and indulgent Low Carb Alfredo Sauce. It's perfect to serve with zoodles, over vegetables or other low carb entrees.

Ingredients

cup
butter

cloves
garlic
minced

cup
heavy cream
1
cup
parmesan cheese
grated
¼
teaspoon
salt and pepper

pinch
of nutmeg
Instructions
Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat, add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer cooking until slightly thicken about 5-6 minutes.
Turn heat to low and add seasonings and cheese. Whisk until cheese is melted.
Notes
Serving size is calculated on
¼
cup sauce each.
Refrigerate alfredo sauce in a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid for up to 5 days.
Freeze alfredo sauce in zippered bags for up to 3 months.
TIP: Sauce can be frozen in an ice cube tray, then transferred to a zippered bag for use in other recipes at a later time.
