Keto Sausage Gravy
This versatile low carb sausage gravy recipe is so easy and can be served over keto biscuits, chaffles or even a tasty low carb casserole.

ground breakfast sausage
¼
cup
onion
finely diced
¼
teaspoon
xanthan gum
¾-1
cup
chicken broth

ounces
cream cheese
½
cup
heavy cream
salt & pepper
to taste
Instructions
In a large skillet, brown sausage and onion until no pink remains. Drain fat.
Add xanthan gum and stir well to combine.
Add broth a bit at a time, stirring after each addition.
Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes or until smooth and thickened.
Serve gravy over warm biscuits.
Notes
Bring cream cheese to room temperature so that it mixes easily with the other ingredients.
Add chicken broth in small amounts and stir well to avoid creating a lumpy gravy.
